Our Sustainability Strategy
At promodoro, sustainability is not simply a response to a market trend. It is part of what we set out to do from the very beginning.
From day one, developing durable products has been both a promise of quality and a contribution to environmental protection. Over time, we have developed this into a clear strategy based on two pillars: reducing our environmental footprint throughout our supply chain and consciously developing durable products.
In the following five points, we outline how we put these two approaches into practice through concrete measures and decisions.
Products & Materials
Products and materials are central to our environmental responsibility. For us, they are a key means of putting sustainability into practice and specifically extending the lifespan of our products. That is why we rely on durable materials such as high-quality, long-staple cotton.
All our products are certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100, and the majority of them also carry the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label.
People & Responsibility
For us, sustainability also means taking responsibility for people. This is reflected in good working conditions within our own company, in clear social standards throughout the supply chain, and in our day-to-day interactions. We work with long-standing suppliers who have signed our Code of Conduct.
We support our employees with, amongst other things, technical aids to reduce physical strain, as well as sustainable mobility options such as public transport subsidies and company bikes. In 2024, we were recognised as a Great Place to Work®. Furthermore, we are committed to charitable projects.
For us, responsibility towards people does not end with the product.

Transparency & Commitment
For us, responsibility also means transparency. Certifications, memberships and independent assessments demonstrate our commitment.
In February 2026, we were awarded the EcoVadis Gold Medal for the third year running. We are also a participant in the UN Global Compact and a member of the MaxTex network for sustainable textiles.
We further ensure transparency through OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN, clear information throughout the supply chain and our annual sustainability report.

Service & Use
For us, sustainability does not end with the manufacture of a textile. How clothes are used and cared for also affect their lifespan and their environmental impact.
We show how textiles can be used for longer through mindful use and proper care, and how this helps to conserve resources.
