Transparency & Commitment
We make sustainability transparent. Independent organisations regularly assess our approach to the environment and people. We work in accordance with recognised standards and make key information publicly available. You can see for yourself which requirements we adhere to, how we measure our progress, and under what conditions our products are manufactured.

EcoVadis
EcoVadis assesses companies worldwide in the areas of the environment, labour and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement. In February 2026, promodoro was awarded the Gold Medal for the third year running. With 84 out of 100 points, we rank among the top two per cent of all assessed companies worldwide.
EcoVadis assesses promodoro as a company, not individual products.
OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100
All promodoro textiles are certified to the OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 and tested for harmful substances. The standard is based on the requirements of the EU’s REACH chemicals regulation, but goes one step further. It rigorously tests our products for many additional harmful substances.
OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN
A large proportion of our range also bears the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label. Using the unique product ID and the ‘oeko-tex.com Label Check’, it is possible to trace how and where the labelled products were manufactured.
In 2024, 83 items in our range carried the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN label. By 2030, we plan to increase this proportion to around 90 per cent of our range.

MaxTex
MaxTex is a network of textile companies. They work together to promote greater sustainability within the industry. Exchanging ideas with other companies is extremely helpful to us. We analyse our experiences, discuss challenges and gain new insights to inform our own approaches.
Documents & Reports
We voluntarily publish an annual sustainability report and make key documents, such as our policies and Code of Conduct, available for download. You can view our requirements and measures directly.
Transparency in the supply chain
Transparency in the supply chain is particularly important to us. Our suppliers are committed to complying with our Code of Conduct and our product safety standards. These rules are based on the EU’s REACH Regulation on chemicals, but go a step further in many areas. Among other things, they strictly define which substances we prohibit and which limit values apply.
In addition, our partners demonstrate compliance with social and environmental standards through recognised certificates. We regularly review these certificates and carry out our own quality controls. In this way, we ensure that the implementation of our requirements is traceable.
